Hi! I'm David Burton.

I'm a growth engineer at Arphie in SF. On the side, I'm building Worm, a consumer social app for book lovers.

I center my life around two things: learning and relationships. Relationships are the most important thing in my life. What makes life special is the people you get to share it with. I’ve been fortunate to meet some incredible people so far.

As for learning, nothing beats that “aha” moment of connecting two ideas. I live for diving into rabbit holes. I use Obsidian, a note-taking tool based on a bottoms-up learning approach.

Most Saturdays, you can find me getting athletic. Skiing is my favorite activity. There’s no better feeling than carving through powder. Heli-skiing in Alaska is a dream of mine. I love to kiteboard, hike, and play basketball as well. I'm looking to get into mountain biking. Always looking for people to do any of the aforementioned activities with.

I'm curious, tend be contrarian but I think that's just because I'm an independent thinker, best at lateral thinking, and ambitious.
